We built a new eCommerce system for Würth Lithuania, digitizing core B2B processes to streamline operations across 30 retail locations and support over 70 active sales representatives, significantly reducing the workload.
In Lithuania, Würth operates 30 physical retail locations and employs over 70 active sales representatives. However, the company entered the market without an eCommerce solution. To address this, they turned to our team with a request to develop an efficient new system that would digitize part of their B2B processes and ease the workload of sales managers.

The task
The project’s main goal was to develop a B2B e-commerce solution with powerful search and user-friendly tools tailored to the shopping habits of the Lithuanian market. The client aimed to maximize the online store’s performance while building a streamlined internal system infrastructure with strategically important integrations.

A customized e-commerce framework built on PHP Symfony was implemented, enabling the core business functions.
Integration with the client’s systems was carried out via REST API, ensuring synchronization of the product catalog, customer information, and B2B.
The LupaSearch product search tool was deployed, enabling faster and more accurate product searches.
A modern front-end solution was implemented using the Next.js framework.
By applying various specialized technologies (e.g., Redis and RabbitMQ), high system performance was ensured.
Kubernetes was implemented to guarantee smooth system operation and resource allocation based on traffic.
